Many pattern pages begin with a finished file and ask you to fit yourself into its size chart. Nastix Patterns works in the other direction: you choose a generator, enter the measurements for your project, and the browser recalculates the draft. The result is a working pattern based on your inputs rather than a picture of a standard size.
Every available generator is free to open and use. The growing collection brings garment foundations and the smaller pieces that often slow a sewing project down into one accessible place—from bodices, skirts, pants, sleeves, and knit tops to collars, cuffs, waistbands, facings, pockets, a hood, and a zipper fly.

The draft changes when your measurements change
The generators use the values you enter to build the pattern geometry. That makes them useful when a fixed ready-made size is not the right starting point or when a detail must match another part of a garment.

Presets make the first draft approachable
You do not need to know every drafting value before you begin. Presets provide practical combinations for common fits, silhouettes, shapes, and construction methods while leaving the individual controls available.

Files prepared for actual sewing
A pattern becomes valuable when it can leave the screen. The generators label pieces and add the practical information needed to identify, print, cut, and assemble them.

Depending on the generator, output can include grainlines, fold lines, notches, placement marks, cut quantities, and seam allowances.

Tiled pages include assembly references, while printable files provide a scale check so the dimensions can be verified before cutting fabric.

Free does not mean skipping the fitting check
Measurements, posture, fabric behaviour, printer settings, and sewing technique all affect the finished garment. Print at 100%, verify the scale marker, compare critical seams, and sew a toile or test piece before cutting valuable fabric. Nastix Patterns gives you a calculated starting point and practical tools; the final fit still deserves a real-world check.
